Second Post Christmas in July
"There are few things in life more heartwarming than to be welcomed by a cat."
------------Tay Hohoff
Hi, again......
I can't believe I got a chance to finish this second card! I had started it last night, too, in a different size format but went with the smaller one to finish first to enter. Here's my big card:
I used a lot of the same supplies, but added an evergreen sprig I won from Great Impressions (THANKS, GI!!!) Take a look at that little Christmas tree light. Isn't it cute??? Thrift store find, of course. A whole little bag of them for pennies! :) The ribbon was thrift store, too!!
Here's an angled shot so you can see the glittery gleam. LOVE it!! Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Vickie!! I go a little crazy at thrift stores, but the one down in town always has something in their craft section I can use!! :)

Hi Janis - I like your funnies - haha, although I have the luxury of a really good cleaning lady...great card - like how you incorporated the patterned paper!
ReplyDeleteSuper-lucky lady you are to have a cleaning lady!! Actually, I am very lucky because my dear hubby is good to help clean around here. Glad you like the funnies. :) Thanks so much for your visit and nice comment!!!

I just love this card! The snowy pine sprig and all the gold embossing and glitter make for such a festive card. That tiny Christmas tree light adds just the perfect touch...great find!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen!! I wish I had put that light on so the bubble didn't show....but whatever!!! :) I love how the card turned out, anyway. Ha!
