Once Upon a Springtime.....
Hi, Friends......I am here to share a springtime card for the Papercrafter's Corner Week #166 Magazine Monday Challenge where they provide a vintage magazine cover to use for inspiration. Here was the cover that inspired me:
When I saw the dancing girl, I immediately thought of springtime and the wonderful Graphic 45 - Once Upon a Springtime collection which features fairies.
Other supplies used include:
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Oval STAX die set
JustRite - Friendship Blooms stamp set (apparently discontinued)
JustRite - Greetings from Paris stamp set
Distress Inks in Gathered Twigs, Tea Dye and Tattered Rose for background stamping over patterned paper
Crinkle Ribbon
DCWV paper
It is always fun getting out my Graphic 45 collections (instead of hoarding them!!) and they seem to fit so well with the Papercrafter's Corner challenges. This was especially fun to make because of the springtime theme. Hope you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments!!!

ReplyDeleteWow Janis, this is just magical!! I love the fairy theme and you've captured the vintage feel perfectly. The stamped images give nice background interest and authenticity to the look....this is making me want to dance and spin (or maybe it's just because I haven't had a wink of sleep all night, ha!) That yummy pink bow pretties it up even more.

ReplyDeleteI love fairies as much as I love butterflies and that is such a ingenious idea to use the price of the stamp as one of the elements for my challenge. I spotted the butterflies straight away too. Loving the zucchini shading. Thnkyou for fluttering by. hugs Mrs A.
