Hi, Friends.....
I am here with a back to school card. I think with this humorous vintage image, however, it could also be used as a September birthday card for an older gentleman who might get a kick out of it.
I am entering this in the Winnie & Walter August Color Combo Challenge - Any Palette Goes. This is the palette I chose for my card:
I sanded my embossed wood-grain background. Love this look!! |
Products used include:
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set
Graphic 45 "A Place in Time" collection
Darice Core'dinations - Vintage Collection
Darice - Wood Grain embossing folder
Core'dinations Sand-it Gadget
Distress Ink in Walnut Stain
Buttons and DMC embroidery floss from stash
Core'dinations Vanilla cardstock for card base
Hope you enjoyed my card. Thank you so much for stopping by today!!!

ReplyDeleteWow, I love the sophistication of this card. Thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge
ReplyDeleteThat wood grained embossed background is PERFECT!! Reminds me of an old wooden desk that students carved their names on (on the underside of course). It goes so well with the vintage Graphic 45 too. I really need to pull out my Graphic 45 and take a second look at it...and then use some!
ReplyDeleteI love this look too. Super card. Hugs Mrs A.
