Hi, Friends......
I am here with a quick post for my last-minute entry into Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge. She is entering Year 6 of her lovely challenges and now offers an additional way to play along......a card style/shape to make. This fortnight's challenge has Butterfly(ies) + the Letter A as the theme and Aperture is the style....in addition to other "A" options: Colors Amber, Apple Green, and Almond and Themes of Acetate, Aperture, and Anything. Her challenges are more fun and inspiring all the time!!
Here's the aperture card I made:
Here it is opened up:
Supplies used include:
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Square STAX die set
Vintage looking Butterfly and Lace stickers from my stash
K&Co. patterned paper
Want 2 Scrap - Adhesive Pearls
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to make an aperture style card. I need to make some again!! Thank you, Mrs. A, for this challenge.
❤
Janis

ReplyDeleteLast but not least Janis. This is so pretty . Love the addition of the beautiful lace. Thankyou for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me this week. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteGreat aperture card. Love it. Also love the 'black hole'reference! Now my monster is an outside cat in daytime I miss the play sessions we had. He is too busy these days with butterflies and skinks and small birds! Doesn't seem to do anything to the skinks but make them drop their tails but he caught a bird the other day! I took it off him and he was not happy. Back to your card - love the lace too. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece with us at Unstampabelles for our first challenge in 2019.
ReplyDeleteWow Janis!! When I looked at this card I thought the lace was all real vintage trim and am so surprised that it's a sticker. What a gorgeous card..and so clever with those layers of color and the aperture. I had intended to make one myself for this challenge but probably missed the deadline (again)...sigh.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful aperture card!! Love the lace on the front and lovely colors!!
