Kid's Birthday Hooray!

Hi, Friends.....

I snagged some creative time in my craft room....instead of just sorting and reorganization time! A friend at church asked me to make some kid birthday cards for her array of grandies of all ages up through pre-teen. So I thought I better get going on some.

I drew inspiration from the current MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #469:

Here's my take for a young girl card:

Supplies used include:
Fiskars - Up in the Air stamp set
Versafine Ink in Deep Lagoon
Lawn Fawn - Large Stitched Rectangles die set
Darice - Nesting Scallop Circles die set
Darice - Nesting Scallop Hearts die set
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Audrey Cutaways die set
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set
Core'dinations/Darice solid cardstock for card base

Hope you are getting some time to play in your craft room these last few days of the year. I have another card to share using the same sketch...so I will see you soon!! Thank you for stopping by.

🖤
Janis

  4. Making a batch of assorted kids' birthday cards couldn't be more fun. It's a chance to pull out some of those bright patterns that you might otherwise pass over, and just go for it! Love your clever take on the card sketch, and perfect use for that number patterned paper!
