House Mouse and Friends Birthday Card
Hi, Friends.....
You know me.....why enter a challenge early when you can "squeak" in with a last-minute entry? lol... So I made this fun birthday card using my Stampendous House Mouse - Gift for Kitty stamp that I recently bought. So cute!!!
This is the last day for entering the House-Mouse / Stampendous Challenge & Blog Hop where they ask us to use both a House Mouse image and a stencil technique. I used my Simon Says Stamp - Falling Snow stencil for a confetti background by "painting" (rather imperfectly!) through the holes with Distress Inks in Festive Berries, Blueprint Sketch, and Twisted Citron. I think it just screams "Party!!" :)
Other supplies used include:
Happy Birthday sentiment from Waffle Flower - On My Mark stamp set
Versafine Ink - Smokey Gray
Faber-Castell Art-Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils
Crayola Watercolor Pencils
Aquabrush
Mixed Media Paper
Adhesive Rhinestones
Coredinations Cardstock
Scraps for matting and sentiment panel
Thank you for your visit today and for your sweet comments. They encourage me so much! I hope you are getting ready for a lovely weekend!!!!

Hi Janis - cute card! I love the House Mouse ... sadly, I don't have any stamps (just sticky pads & memos from eons ago!). So happy to see you at PCC ... I've been entering there the last few weeks now & I am really enjoying it.

Awwww, love this cute little birthday card, and how clever of you to turn the falling snow into confetti! That mouse/rat in the top photo looks just like one that my son caught yesterday in a humane trap and released down by the river. Of course, I doubt that my cat Teddy would share his food with a mouse, but your sweet little birthday pals are adorable.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Janis, such a cute little image.
