Hi, Friends......

I am here today on my BIRTHDAY to share the first of a bunch of cards I made over the weekend for the big Winnie & Walter - 3rd Birthday Bash celebration over on their blog!!! Not only do they have a GIGANTIC giveaway, but they have 10 different challenges that you can play along with.....including a chance at a big Guest Star slot, if you participate with at least 4 different cards starring their products!! (See their blog post for details on that.) Winnie & Walter challenges are among my favorites anywhere in the papercrafting blogosphere. I hope you will join me in wishing Shay and everyone at W&W a Happy 3rd Birthday and play along with the challenges!!!

Today, I am also playing along with ScrappyMo's Rudolph Days February Challenge with an Anything Christmas Goes theme. I am trying to make Christmas cards all through the year (wish me luck on that!!), so I was glad to make this one with my Winnie & Walter - Our Town stamp set (my favorite for town scene Christmas cards!) and Distress Ink smooshed background on watercolor paper.

Other Supplies used include:
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Audrey Cutaways die set (scalloped rectangle)
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set (large rectangle and banner)
Sequins from W&W included in my most recent package
Snowflake sequins from my stash
WOW! Embossing Powder - Opaque Bright White Regular
Distress Inks

Hope you enjoyed my card. I had a lot of fun making smooshed backgrounds for the Winnie & Walter Ink Smooshing Challenge with Heather H. (You might know I have a love for background techniques!) Many thanks for stopping by. Be sure to go check out the Winnie & Walter - 3rd Birthday Bash celebration!! See you in a little while with another card!!

  4. Oh, I love those white embossed elements from the Our Town set and that swirling winter background is perfect for Christmas. The snowflake confetti and sequins give the whole scene such a magical feel...which couldn't be more appropriate for that time of year!
