Programmed to Party

Hi, Friends.....

I'm back with a happy birthday card especially suitable for a young boy. I used a fun robot party clown image and crisp lines to go with the bright red, white, and blue color scheme. I left the image uncolored to stay with the clean look. Buttons seemed to go just right with this little clown. I rarely use them, so I was glad to find just the right colors in my stash!!!

I used the July Sketch from Power Poppy today:

Supplies used include:
Verve Stamps - Geared Up stamp set (retired)
Versafine ink in Majestic Blue
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Oval STAX die set
Clear embossing powder
DCWV patterned paper
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set
Core'dinations/Darice scraps from stash
Buttons from stash

Hope you enjoyed my card. Thank you so much for stopping by today!!!

  5. Brilliant card, Janis, the buttons make a perfect embellishment. The robot looks great uncoloured, but would be equally good if the recipient wanted to use it as picture for them to colour themselves. xx
