Hold on to the Spirit of Christmas - July Rudolph Days

Hi, Friends.......

I am here with a couple of cards I made for the July Rudolph Days at Scrappy Mo's. I used some of the background I made with leftover Easter egg dye and salt. This is from the same sheet as I used HERE on my butterfly card. You can read my technique there.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to coordinate with the purple and blues or the pink from the background, so I made one of each. Which do you like better?

Here's the purple/blue one:

I had not used my K&K Small Bow Maker for a long time.  Since I wanted to make sure this bow looked perfect, I got it out.  I had to look up on YouTube to remember how to use it, but it worked great.
Here it is in pink:

Supplies used include:
Quietfire Designs - Hold on to the Spirit of Christmas
Versafine ink in Majestic Blue
Clear sparkle embossing powder
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Oval STAX die set
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Audrey Cutaways die set
Sheer ribbon from stash
K&K Small Bow Maker
Pretty Pink Posh - Sparkling Clear Mix sequins

Hope you liked my cards. Which is your favorite? I think I like the blue/purple one better. Thank you for stopping by today!!!

  1. They're both pretty...(and those are PERFECT bows!), but since blue is one of my favorite colors I vote for the blue and purple. The blue ribbon really brings out the rich colors of your background. Also love that sweet little Christmas kitty gifting the pup with something she values. Or, is she just hoping the cat nip has the same effect on dogs as on cats...giving her free rein of the household?!

  5. Both of your cards are very pretty but I think I like the drama of the purple card the best!
Your background has such vivid purples that it is a delight to see them against the strong purple base card.

    Beautiful!

Thanks for taking part in the July Rudolph Days Challenge.
