Hi, Cat-Crazy Friends......

Oh, my....we are at Day 3 and already there are soooooooo many amazing cat projects linked up!  Have you had a chance to hop around at all?  There is so much to enjoy at each stop.  You are not going to want to miss a single project!!! 

THREE THINGS I WANT TO MENTION BEFORE WE GET GOING:

#1.  Somehow I failed to say on the Day 1 post that Gail (ionabunny), our favorite Crafty Nomad, also posted a project on the first day of our very first hop back in 2015, helping to launch this venture.  My apologies for that oversight, my friend. I wanted to set the record straight today. THANK YOU for your support and encouragement over these 5 years of Hops!! 

If I missed anyone else, please let me know!!!

#2. Have you all been reading the great comments each day on the Daily Games? Yesterday's was about an annoying habit your cat has.  I found myself laughing and nodding knowingly on nearly every single comment!!  THANK YOU to those of you who have shared.  It is very gratifying to be with other people who really KNOW cats!!!  lol...  Our pets can be sooooooo extremely annoying, and yet we still love them!!  Ha.  We must be insane......

#3. BONUS:  Did you know that a few hoppers have their own GIVEAWAYS going at their blogs, too???   I've only hopped through about half of the projects linked up so far, but I noticed D.Ann has a fabulous giveaway and Jenny has a link to a free download of a super-cat image.  I also looked ahead and spied that Alex and Becca have something special going on, too.  I bet there are others!!  THANK YOU to those who are making this hop even more fun by generously offering little freebies and giveaways.  You are awesome!!!

Day 3 Game - Kitty Name A-B-C

This game will be one of those that you have to come back to over and over to see where in the alphabet we are.  The rules are that we start at the beginning of the alphabet and name a cat we have currently or have had in the past whose name started with that letter.  

When you have a cat name starting with the right letter, please fill in your cat name(s) as a REPLY to the person just above you in the ABCs.  You can name up to three cats in a row at a time, but they all have to start with the next letter or letters.  (I certainly hope we have some Queenies and Zephyrs!! lol...)  

Now, occasionally, someone will be commenting at the same time as you and you both might use the same letter...that's okay!  We will end up with all sorts of branches.  That just makes it more fun...and confusing!!  Ha.  You might have to hunt around to find the ends of the branches that have reached a dead-end on a particular letter.  You can use the same name more than once if we reach that part of the alphabet again....esp if it begins with a difficult letter!!...but try to let someone else have a turn before you use the same name again.

Okay....I will start.  I will do the first three letters:
A - Adelaide
B - Bonzi
C - Caspian
(I will put these in the first comment below.)

Somebody with a D cat name will then REPLY TO MY COMMENT with their "D - Dancer" or maybe "D - Dunce-Cat" and if they also have an E name and an F name, they can include them, too. The next person will be telling us their G name....or whichever letter the last person ended with.

Hope this makes sense...at least a little bit!  Don't stress too much on making sure everything is going as planned. It is just for fun!!!  As I recall, we did something like this before for one of the Hops and it was a lot of fun. We have more participants now, though, so I hope it flows even better and that you have a good time with it.

This is how to play the game to be eligible for the prize drawing:
1.  Make sure you have SIGNED IN HERE to be eligible for prizes.
2. It's possible that you won't get a chance to jump in at the opportune moment when we get to the letter for your kitty and won't end up playing along at all.  No worries.  This is for everyone!!  You can still link up your name below to be eligible for the digi prize. 

NOTE: The Daily Game link ups will be open the entire duration of the Hop, including the extra day for comments. Entries need to be in by 11:55 pm Pacific, Sunday Oct. 27, 2019 to be eligible for the daily prize. So you have more than just today to comment and link up. I realize that not everyone has access to a printer or likes to use digis, so I am still keeping the link up gadget to make sure the digi prizes go to winners who can use them. But I am hoping EVERYONE will participate in answering the questions whether they are putting their name in for the prize or not.
