Hi, Friends.......

I am going to try to make this a fast post because I have another card I want to blog, also. I have been so busy getting ready for the 2018 Cat Lovers Hop that I haven't had much time to create other things. Here is a card I am entering in the Winnie & Walter WCMD Black and White Background Challenge and in a few other of their WCMD challenges, too!

I also am entering the Winnie & Walter Rerun #35 - Scenery V for CheVron Challenge. I don't have the featured rerun set, so I took inspiration from Crystal's lovely card HERE where she uses a black and white chevron background.

I dressed up my die cut background by inking up a chevron embossing folder with Distress Ink in Black Soot and then embossing my white cardstock as usual. Then I die cut it with a W&W pierced rectangle die from the Katharine Cutaways set. Love the slightly grungy, imperfect look!
