Happy Christmas - October Rudolph Days

They say it works with toddlers, too!!
(I might have to get back to you on that!)

Hi, Friends.......

I'm here with a quick post to add my submission into Maureen's Rudolph Days Challenge.  I am still busy with tying up loose ends with the Cat Lovers Hop.....although I have to admit that I didn't do a scrap of commenting today and I am way behind!!  I will have to work hard on it through Wednesday to get all the lovely projects visited.

Just a note:  You can still participate in the 2022 Cat Lovers Hop by commenting on my Daily Posts and on the Linked-Up projects
through Wed. Nov. 2 for a chance at one of the comment prizes!!  If you love cats, you will be so glad you did!!  Get all the details HERE.

My Christmas card today used a gleaming double embossed background I had leftover in my stash.  I have made cards with this wonderful embossing folder a number of times...often double embossing them.  But I always struggled to fit them on an A2-sized card.  I finally figured out that I should put them on a 5"x7".  Ahhhh, much better!

Supplies used include:
Darice Christmas Tree embossing folder (retired)
Versamark Ink
Warm Silver Embossing Powder
Scrapbook Adhesives - Black Photo Corners
Adhesive pearls in black
Sentiment from thrift store - not sure of brand
Versafine Ink in Onyx Black

Hope you liked my card.  Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!  We never get any trick-or-treaters, but my daughter picked up two bags of candy...just in case!!!  lol....

I'll leave you with my favorite kitty Halloween cartoon:

See you on Wednesday with my Wrap-Up Post for the Cat Lovers Hop.

Janis

  2. Beautiful card with this very pretty embossing folder design! I don't use my folders often enough, and I have a lot of them!
I'm still doing some commenting on the hop also, and having the same issues that you have mentioned in your posts. I am apparently 'logged out' and have to put my name in nearly every time so that I'm not posting as 'anonymous'.....

*LOL* ... your cartoon is sooooo funny. If my cats were celebrating Halloween, they would dress up like this.

  6. Your card is beautiful, lovely Christmas card. The kitten costumes are funny. Last year I sat in a chair in the porch as that was easier than going back and forth!
