Hi, Friends....

I am here with one last entry into the Winnie & Walter 4th Birthday Bash challenges....which all close today!! What a great month celebrating my own ATC birthday along with making cards and projects to celebrate W&W's BD!!! Thank you, Shay, for making February a real celebration month!!!

This is another "scraps and strays" card using some lovely stamped images that were sent to me quite some time ago in a little happy mail package from Karen Franciola (Thank you!!). I think the images are Mama Elephant, but I am not sure. The DCWV patterned paper panels were scraps from my stash. I fussy cut the heart and the sweet little giraffe and colored them in pastel shades with my Spectrum Noirs.

Supplies used include:
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Audrey Cutaways die set (scalloped panel)
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set (sentiment banner)
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Oval STAX die set
Darice - Checkered embossing folder (discontinued, apparently)
Tonic Studios - Nuvo Crystal Drops
Spectrum Noir Markers - PP3, CT1, TB1

Thank you so much for stopping by! Thank you, Shay, for all the fun of the Winnie & Walter 4th Birthday Bash challenges.

Hi, Friends......

I am here with a quick post to share a Christmas card for Rudolph Days at Scrappy Mo's.

It's another "Scraps and Strays" card.....where I used one of my sparkly molten backgrounds that has been sitting around in my stash for several years and a stray piece from a Winnie & Walter freebie. Even the sentiment panel was an extra that I didn't need from a previous project. This card reminds me of black licorice.....YUM!!!

Winnie & Walter Daily Grind Collection Vol. 1 - Holiday Mint
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Oval STAX die set
My Mind's Eye - All is Bright stamp set (sadly discontinued)
Versamark Ink
Ranger - Embossing Powder in silver, regular grade
Pretty Pink Posh - Sparkling Clear Mix sequins
Core'dinations Cardstock
Twine from my stash
For Background:
Darice - Snowflakes and Flourishes embossing folder
Distress Ink in Black Soot - for inking the inside of the embossing folder before putting through Big Shot.

Versamark Ink brayered over entire background
Various embossing powders (solids, metallics, and glittered) for the background

Hope you enjoyed seeing my card!! Thank you for stopping by.

I also finished up a gleaming gold and pink "scraps and strays" BD card for the occasion, using a background I made last year with distress inks on glossy photo paper. (It's another of my failed bubble-wrap backgrounds.... sooooooooo much fun to make and turned out pretty!)

Winnie & Walter - In a Word: Happy Cutaway die
DCWV Mercury Glass Stack scraps
Winnie & Walter - In a Word: Happy stamp set

Hi, Friends......

I'm still catching up with blogging the projects from my recent card-making frenzy. Here's one I made for a young gal in our church who likes horses. I got my Graphic 45 - Off to the Races collection out and used it for the first time. I love being able to make quick cards using one of their cut-aparts as a focal panel. By matting and layering the printed sheets, I get a wonderfully coordinated card in a short amount of time! I even made an envelope in a coordinating color to go with it. :)

Supplies used include:
Graphic 45 - Off to the Races collection
Core'dinations kraft cardstock
Sheet of turquoise paper from my stash for the envelope.

Hope you are inspired to get out your Graphic 45......(I know you hoard it just like I do!!!)  I'd love to see your fabulous and quick cards, too! Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, Friends......

Here's a fun kitty card that's been waiting with my others that I am trying to get blogged.  I wanted to make sure I got an entry into Ike's Show Us Your Pussies Cats Only Challenge.  This month's theme is Furrything Goes/Love.  Awwww....I love all cats!  Even those with an attitude!!

I totally love the colors on this one. The background is from my stack of watercolor marker "refill water" sheets. So much fun!!!

Supplies used include:
Inkadinkadoo - Catitude stamp set
Versafine ink in Onyx Black
Clear embossing powder
Pink & Main Scallop Waves die set for curved side of stitched panel
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Square STAX die set for straight sides of stitched panel
Scraps, ribbon, and black rhinestones from my stash

This Cat-itude stamp reminds me of my very catty females who get terribly jealous if someone else is napping on my lap!! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your nice comments I am going to get caught up with my blogging soon!!
