I rarely make shakers, but got into the summery spirit with this card.  Isn't this coverplate die pretty?  It was a prize quite some time back from Diane and Darlene over at the Double D Challenge.  (THANK YOU, Ladies!!)  Somehow, it seemed to need some sequins rattling around behind it.  ❤

Woodland Friends Notecard Set - Graphic 45

Hi, Friends......

I have been playing with my Graphic 45 collections a lot lately.  One of my favorite collections is Woodland Friends.  This has a special significance to me because I happen to live in a tiny community called Woodland.  Most of the adorable woodland critters in this collection are ones I see regularly in my area.  Also....the church we belong to up here is called Woodland Friends Church.  How perfect is that?  :)

I used the large cutaparts and backgrounds from the patterned paper to make some simple 5x7 notecards.  These are a fun and easy way for me to "get started" using one of my G45 collections.

Awwwww.....the deer families are all over the place right now.
Love seeing the little spotted fawns.....so cute!!

Here's a shot of all five of the designs in the notecard sets I made:

Supplies used include:
Graphic 45 Woodland Friends collection
Strips of coordinating solid cardstock from my stash
Ribbon from my stash

Hope you enjoyed seeing these cute summery notecards!  Thank you for stopping by today.

Happy Christmas (in July) with Bells

Hi, Friends......

All month I have been making Christmas cards with odds and ends in my stash.  I am determined to USE some of these bits that have been sitting in my Christmas boxes for literally years!!  We'll see how many of them I actually get blogged for Christmas in July....  lol....

I had previously paired this pretty background scrap of very old patterned paper with the pink ribbon and doily and card base.  I just needed to find an image to put on it.  A friend sent me this sweet bell stamp that fit well.  It had sat unused, but not unloved in my stash.  I colored it up and got brave and even added some white gel pen highlights on the design.  Too much?  I hope not.  I am not very good at doing accents like that!

I ended up making three cards of this design......two in pink and one in blue.  Glad to be adding to my stack for December!!

Supplies used include:
M&C Boutique - Large Circle Frame die set (retired)
Whimsy Stamps Bonus Gift with Purchase (discontinued)
Inkylicious - Seasons Greetings x4 stamp set
Versafine Ink in Onyx Black
Spectrum Noir alcohol markers
White and Sparkle Gel Pens
Doodlebug - Mini Doilies
Scraps of white cardstock and patterned paper from stash

May Rudolph Days - Christmas Magic

Hi, Friends.....

I got out a stray set of Graphic 45 stickers from the older Nutcracker Sweet collection that was kindly sent to me years ago by Gloria Stengel.  (Thanks, Gloria!!)  All I have from that collection are the stickers, but I knew I had papers and trim I could use.  I am squeaking this in as my entry into the May Rudolph Days over at ScrappyMo's!

Supplies used include:
Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet stickers
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Oval STAX die set (retired)
Scraps of patterned paper and solid cardstock for mats and panels
Ribbon and ric-rak trim from stash
Distress Ink in Walnut Stain

Thank you for stopping by today.  It is a very chilly, gray, and rainy Memorial Day here in Idaho.  I don't think it hit 50F today and we can hardly step foot in our gardens yet because it has been so cold and wet!  As usual, though, the weather will change to hot and dry all of a sudden and our chilly wet spring will be but a fading memory.  Hope all of you are doing well.

Keep Calm And Saddle Up!

Hi, Friends......

I have one more card to share for the Allsorts 13th Birthday Celebration.
A gal asked me to make a horse-themed card for her brother's 18th BD.  I got out some fun horsey supplies and got to work.  I had to use my computer to make the 18th BD sentiment, but the other one was stamped.  I did not get the ink colors to match perfectly but they are pretty close.  I chose twine tied in square knots for the embellishment....to suggest a rope halter.

Supplies used include:
Elizabeth Craft Designs - Farm Greetings stamp set (retired)
Memento Ink - Rich Cocoa
Distress Ink - Frayed Burlap
Scraps of Patterned and Solid Cardstock from my stash
Twine from stash

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Have a lovely rest of the week.
