"After scolding one's cat, one looks into its face and is seized by the ugly suspicion that it understood every word. And has filed it for reference."
Hi, Friends......
I am back with another card for the MFP Speedy Fox and Friends "Make a Rainbow" challenge. This time I pulled out my Gelatos and colored on a white premade DCWV embossed card. After coloring the stripes, I took a tissue and rubbed off the excess which revealed the embossed pattern.
I kept the rest of the card simple so the background would not be obscured. A simple Serendipity die cut butterfly and an unadorned Happy Birthday sentiment (from MFP - What a Fox) stamped in Distress Ink - Ripe Persimmon was all it needed. I love the orange butterfly with the bright rainbow colors!! Hope you like it, too.
Thanks for visiting and for all your comments. They are very much appreciated!!! Have a lovely day.

This cheerful rainbow hued card is just the perfect antidote to these dreary winter days and a reminder of sunny days ahead! Love how you added the gelatos in a diagonal pattern and the butterfly in the same direction. It really does give the impression of flight! Oh, and the more I look at it,the more I see the circles as looking like planets and suns in some alternate universe...which gives it a whole 'nother feel. Hmmm, I had better go eat some breakfast if I'm starting to hallucinate!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Karen. Looking at this card and the next one I entered in the rainbow challenge makes me think that maybe my head is on diagonally, since both cards are at the same angle! Eeeeek!
DeleteLOL @ the planets and suns. I think you need some sugar. :)

ReplyDeleteI adore your bright and lovely card, the colours, the butterfly...just awesome!
Thanks for sharing and for joining the Shopping Our Stash crew for our "Not Your Normal Paper" challenge!!
LOL abt your big doggie loving a sweater!!! Ha. Cats are resentful if you even think abt dressing them up. I used to do that when I was a kid. My poor beleaguered cat left a trail of doll clothes across the house as he extricated himself from the offensive garments one by one!!!
DeleteThanks for your visit and nice comment!
