Kitty Hello There

Hi, Friends.....

Raise your hand if you are trying to use up bits and pieces of things from your stash during 2020........yep, same here!! I am determined to do that this year. Some cards won't be spectacular as others, but the satisfaction I will have of using things will be reward enough. Not ALL of our cards have to be masterpieces!!

I love pink and black together.....reminds me of those candy-coated licorice candies....can't think of the name of them, right now....but YUM!!....I love black licorice!! I had some sweet little kitty puffy stickers out on my craft desk for kid birthday cards and pulled out my pink and black scraps. I also noticed this inky "Hello There" speech balloon that had been in my stash for ages. That might work....somewhere!

I am following the current MFT Sketch Challenge for this card:

Here's what I came up with:

Supplies used include:
Winnie & Walter - Sketchy Thoughts stamp set
Versafine ink in Onxy Black
Winnie & Walter - Sketchy Thoughts die set
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Audrey Cutaways die set
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set
Darice - Nesting Scallop Hearts die set
Kat Scrappiness - Paw Print Sprinkles
Puffy Sticker Kitty
DCWV scraps
Core'dinations/Darice solid cardstock

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you like this sweet kitty card made from odds and ends!!

🖤

  3. Love the cartoon you have shown today. That fits my daughter purrfectly. Love your pink and black card too. Must use more scraps up. I did manage to throw a few bits in the bin today instead of putting in a pile to punch out at sometime (that never ever arrives)point. Glad you liked your card. Hugs Mrs A.

  5. Janis, that pink and black combo is fantastic! Love the adorable kitty. I love using up scraps and old stash because then I can tell myself I need to buy more. (giggle) You know, you really should have entered this at 2 Crafter Critter Crazies. The theme there is always "Anything Goes with a Critter" and while we allow any kind of critter, we adore cats! :-D https://2craftycrittercrazies.blogspot.com/

  7. Another cute kitty and great colour combo-I am on a mission only buy essentials glue etc and to make headway into the two drawers of paper oddments and to either use or declutter unused stamps and dies

  9. Okay, I have to admit that I really want that puffy-sticker,googly eyed calico kitty for myself, haha! I keep intending to dig into my odds and end stash to make some cards this week but the next thing that happens is my day is gone and I've done nothing. Pulling out that neglected stash and just jumping in is the best way to get that mojo working, isn't it?!
