Hi, Friends......
I'm back with a quick card I made with spring butterflies and an encouraging scripture verse. As you might know, STAMPlorations is on the last day or two of their Spring Fling event. I couldn't let it pass by without entering!
As I have mentioned before, I used to make a ton of simple little note card sets that left me with untold numbers of patterned paper scraps exactly the right width for a slim-line card. It's fun to pull out my embellishments and a simple stamped sentiment for a quick card using one of them as a background. Here I used some dollar store butterflies and a foil lined flower chippie that Karen Ladd sent me a long time ago! ❤
Other supplies used include:
Stampabilities - Nehemiah 8:10 G1009 (very ancient...has a 2000 date on it!)
Versafine ink in Majestic Blue
Clear embossing powder
Solid and patterned paper scraps from stash
Thank you for stopping by today to take a look at this quick and easy card. Have a lovely week!!
❤
Janis

ReplyDeleteLove the pretty colors in your slimline card, Janis! The scripture is wonderfully uplifting along with the colors and embellishments. Thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble #85.
ReplyDeleteWow, another "The Butterfly" yoyo trick inspiration... never saw that one; but searched it and it's a very interesting trick and really does have the butterfly fluttering... amazing. I was really pleasantly surprised on how many other yoyo tricks were used for inspiration in addition to the simple yoyo tricks we supplied. Thanks for sharing another card with us at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, love the colors and slimline size. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble!
ReplyDeleteThe butterflies are gorgeous. Thankyou for coming and playing in the garden for this challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeletevery nice card!
ReplyDeleteHaha, thank goodness you've used those chipboard flowers, because I STILL haven't used even one of them. I need to make a special effort to use them before my kids end up inheriting my stash! Perfect coordinating papers and embellishments make this a truly elegant design.
