This Week's Oriental Card

"When the tea is brought at five o'clock
And all the neat curtains are drawn with care,
The little black cat with bright green eyes
Is suddenly purring there."
            -------Harold Monro

Hi, Friends.....

Just a quick post for the MFP Oriental Sketch Challenge this week.

Here's the assigned sketch, which I flipped:

For my card,  I went with some gentle colors and a simple stamped butterfly that looked Oriental-ish to me.  Can't wait for my MFP stamps to get shipped so I can use some real Oriental images for these challenges!!!

Supplies I used:  various DCWV papers and cardstock, Coredinations cardstock, Staz-On black ink, thrift store stamp.

Thanks for stopping by.  :)  Shortest post ever!  Ha.

    1. Thank you so much, Desire!! I really like the serene colors. And, even though, I didn't have any oriental characters to put on it, I thought it still had that feel to it, too.

  8. The bold softness of oriental art has always attracted me. This creation has all of the feel of an oriental piece of art. It is simple, soft and bold. The arrangement is perfect. Bravo.
