Hi, Friends......
I am here with a card for the MFP FOSTV Challenge - Yellow and Gray. I also used the sketch from the Inspired By Stamping Monthly Blog Challenge.
Here's the sketch she gave us:
Here's my take:
The gray and yellow colors immediately brought to my mind clouds and sunshine. I recently won this Papertrey Ink - Hello Sunshine set from PaperCrafts and Scrapbooking. (THANKS, PC&S!!) and I knew it would be perfect. I love this sentiment: "Wherever you go, No matter the weather, Always bring your own sunshine." I stamped this with a brand new Memento - London Fog ink pad I just bought. (Yes, I do actually buy things!! Ha.) I can't tell you how much I totally LOVE this ink!!! I also bought one in Rich Cocoa....actually, I bought two so I can give one away in my 50 Follower giveaway coming up sometime soon. :) :) :)
I used several different papers in this one: Crate Paper - Flea Market (a prize from Pumpkin Spice...THANKS, PS!!!), Glitz - Sunshine in my Soul (a prize...THANKS, Glitz!!), Authentique - Blissful (a prize, also....THANKS, Authentique!!) and that dazzling silver glittered paper is DCWV - Twinkle Glints (a gift from my daughter <3 <3 <3 ).
Here's an angled shot so you can see the sparkle and shine. Other embellishments include: butterflies from Recollections, a lovely Zva swirl, some thrift store lace, and a few JoAnn dollar rack rhinestones. Fun!! Hope you like it, too!!!
Hey, I have another new follower. That makes 43!!!!
Diana Larson of DL.ART. I only recently became acquainted with her blog through my pal, Karen L., but it is an a-w-e-s-o-m-e challenge spot!! She also is an amazing crafter. You have to look at the out-of-this-world beautiful anniversary bouquet she has up on her blog right now! Thank you so much, Diana, for your sweet comment on my blog and for becoming a follower!! This ginormous smile is for you!!!
