Hi, Friends.......
I got super-inspired by the wonderful Winnie & Walter September Color Combo Challenge. The deadline is still several days away and I had two more ideas I wanted to do with these fabulous colors!
One of my ideas was for a sunset night sky. I sponged distress inks over kraft and splattered with watered down gesso. I colored my sweet critters with Prismacolor pencils and blended with thinner. I am totally IN LOVE with how this turned out!!!

| I even got super-brave and drew in some grass on the hillsides with my Pigma .005 black marker!!! EEK....that was scary....I was so afraid I would mess up the entire background! I like how it looks with the wisps of grass, though. Whew.... |

I'm so glad that you keep reminding me (because it is all about me, right?) about the cat lover's blog hop. Sweet card with the puppy kitty love. Good job on the background too. I understand the being scared. I would get it just right and decide it needed one last thing and ruin it, so kudos to you for not doing that.
