Do you like giveaways?????

Awwwwwwwww........so sweet.

Hi, Friends......

This is just a quickie post about giveaways.  I love them!!!

Since Little Peach takes up a lot of my time and attention, I don't have long periods of time to make cards and to search out challenges, but I can do a quick comment here and there on a giveaway.  :)  So my prizes have begun arriving in the mail again.  LOVE that!!!  (Happy dance!!)

If you visit this blog regularly, you are always seeing me thank this company or that company for a prize of some lovely product they sent me.  Some of the giveaways ask me to Tweet about them....and I gladly oblige.  :)  So I got to thinking that if I have readers who are interested in giveaways, too, I would post a Follow me at Twitter button on my sidebar so you can have ready access to any giveaways I tweet about. (If I were smarter about Blogger I could even put a button right here in my post.....but forget that!  Ha.)

I got two prizes in the mail yesterday!  Woohoo!!!

I received from the lovely Laura Williams (Laura Loo Loo) this
pretty card and these yummy Spellbinders stamps and miscellaneous die-cuts and goodies.  THANKS, Laura!!!

This fabulous stack of stamp sets is what I received from PaperCrafts and Scrapbooking.  Wowza!!  What a haul!  THANKS, PC&S!!!

Now about a giveaway of my own, right here at My Peaceful Garden.  I am slowly getting closer to 50 followers and then I will announce a giveaway here.  I am on the hunt for goodies here and there to be part of the prize.  I'm super-excited about this and I hope you are, too!

That's all for now.  Hope your week has been lovely and your weekend is even better!!!

Isn't it so much fun to get goodies in the mail?!! I'm old enough to remember a time when snail mail was the only mail and I looked forward to getting something in the mail with my name on it! My husband refers to prizes that I win as "presents" and complains that he never gets any presents in the mail. I remind him that he has to ENTER giveaways to win..ha! Nice stamp haul....and lots of creative crafty time there!

I wish that baby photo were one of mine, but it was cut and pasted. Sweet, though!

Love getting those prizes in the mail!!! I'm sure wondering what has happened to all my prizes from MFP...???.... Haven't received a one of them yet.

Oh, my goodness......it is like Christmas to me when I get a prize!!! :) :) :) My husband just calls them prizes, but his eyes nearly bugged out when I told him I had won a $100 Walmart gift card. That was last year when I was fairly new to entering all these comment contests. Sheepishly, I have to admit that I had most of it spent before the gift card even arrived, so I just gave the card to my hubby. Ha!!!!

Yesterday, I got two small bags of unmounted rubber for $1.50 each at the thrift store down in town. If I can get things together, I'll post a picture of the images. Some of them are really pretty.....others have me scratching my head wondering how to use them. :D Worth the gamble, though!!!

Wow!! A $100 Walmart gift card is an amazing prize! My husband always asks me why I don't win something worthwhile, like a trip to Hawaii, instead of more craft supplies...haha! I have to explain that craft supplies are easier to win because people like him don't enter!
I have purchased grab bags of unmounted stamps in the past that had quite the assortment in them as well. Some of them were really quirky and there are many that I still haven't used but I'm working on it. I like to make humorous cards for some of my family members and I find myself digging into those "weird" stamp collections for those. There are some though that I just can't manage to find a use for even now.

I live in such a small place that I can't imagine who might have all this unmounted rubber they are donating!!! Wish I knew!!!! Ha. I should make some quirky cards with some of these stamps! That would be fun. :)
