Hi, Friends........
Whew...relaxing time is almost here...I am here with #5, the last of my birthday card marathon for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Happy Birthday. Their Wednesday Challenge is 6 years old and they are giving away 6 prizes this week. I am getting this one in with about an hour to spare and I see I am not the only one!!! There are several others competing for those last spots. :)
For this card I once again used my Darice Birthday with Dots embossing folder. After the cardstock was embossed, I gently shaded the raised spots with Distress Ink.
The balloons are from a thrift store set with no identifying info. I had the stamped images in my stash leftover from a project many moons ago. I thought they would look nice with this embossing. What do you think?
I used a sparkling gel pen to draw in the string.
Well, that's all for tonight!! Thanks for stopping in. I will add more challenges in tomorrow, but for now all I am doing is linking up with SSS.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a cute embossing folder and one I've never seen. Hard to believe there's still an embossing folder out there that is new to me, but this is a great one! Those stamped balloons with the sparkly drawn string are adorable and add a wonderful touch of color to this card!
