Hi, Friends......
Here's the next one up in my cards waiting to be blogged. I have been making a flurry of cards in the last few days and am tryyyyyying to get caught up with blogging them. This one is a Thinking of You card for an elderly gentleman who has been attending our church. He's had some recent health issues keeping him at home.
I love that a bold piece of fabulous patterned paper paired up with a sentiment panel can make a nice masculine card. No frills...just the way most of them like it. I was able to use a scrap of DCWV cardstock and a sentiment panel that had been in my stash for ages. Yay!
Products used include: SCRAPS....I used up a few more scraps! :)
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set (for pierced rectangle background piece)
DCWV patterned cardstock scrap
Clear Dollar Stamps - Scriptures of Peace (discontinued) (for sentiment)
Distress Ink in Walnut Stain
Clear embossing powder
Core'dinations Kraft Cardstock
Thank you for stopping by! I still have more of my flurry of cards to post...so I will see you soon!!

You're right about this not needing anything beyond a great sentiment and some dramatic patterned paper for a card base. This is spectacular!
ReplyDeleteOh, and that poor lion, who forgot Valentines day...ha!
