Hi, Friends.....
I am back with a one-layer card to share in the WCMD festivities at Winnie & Walter. Hard to believe but my dear granddaughter is 8 years old now. She is cute and smart and so very funny!! She says she is not 8...instead, she says she is 9 explaining it's because "I don't believe in Zero Years Old!!" Apparently she thinks a baby emerges from the womb already 1 year old. lol.... (Some pregnancies do feel that way!!)
Here's the unicorn card I made for her birthday. She doesn't have too much interest in sitting down to make cards with me, so I was quite impressed when she studied the card for a few moments as she took it out of the envelope and told me she really liked the "outline shading" on the unicorn's face. Who would have thought this bouncing-off-the-walls kid would even notice???!!! 💜💜💜
Supplies used include:
The Ink Road - Majestic AF stamp set
Versafine Ink in Onyx Black
Distress Markers
Distress Ink
Pretty Pink Posh - Sparkling Clear Mix sequins
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you like my fun one-layer card!!!
🖤
Janis

Oh my goodness Janis this is sweet. I am sure some of your crafty talent MUST be appreciated if she noticed the shading! She is obviously listening. Haha
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I LOVE that unicorn image!
ReplyDeleteWell no wonder she noticed all the details on this card, this is just beautiful!! Love the way you shaded all the elements in soft pink to make them pop, and it obviously worked perfectly since your granddaughter noticed. Sweet and magical all the way~
ReplyDeleteHmm, I'd better not let my almost-5 year old see this because she's unicorn crazy and will be begging me to make her one too. This is so pretty.
ReplyDeletehahha
