Hi, Friends.........
I am here with two masculine cards using the Graphic 45 "A Proper Gentleman" collection. I love these vintage-style car images. One of these will go to my hubby for Father's Day. I am safe posting them, though, because he doesn't look at my blog. Ha.
I was inspired by the fabulous June card sketch from Stick it Down.
I am entering this in the Graphic 45 June Selfie challenge as these cards reflect some of the eclectic vintage antiques we own and enjoy.....including an old farm truck out next to the driveway. :)
Here are the two cards I made:
And the other one....
Supplies used include:

CARDZ-TV Potpourri stamp set

Distress Ink in Black Soot

Fabulous cards, with great vintage cards! But I falled in love with the card on the top... The pink car 4 cats!!! WOW!!! :D :D I want it! LOL
ReplyDeleteI know, I know.... it isn't a card, but a stunning real car! :D Too much fun!!
DeleteOh yes..I do like your style!!! You're on such a roll with the Graphic 45, and I'm loving it. What a great duo of masculine cards, and perfect sentiment to go with them. Love how you used some of the patterned paper from the collection to wrap around your panel, instead of ribbon. I would probably have just used twine and not even thought to do this!
ReplyDeleteAs for that cat car....oh my goodness. I can just imagine seeing that drive down the street..ha! Reminds me of the Cheshire Cat, minus his grin.
Great cards. You should share photos of your vintage autos and farm truck.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have vintage cars....just the old farm truck. It's not really photo-worthy, though. The other things I was talking about are in the house...furniture, and such. Oh, yes, and don't forget the heritage branding irons and cowboy cookware. Guess who collects those and has them displayed by the woodstove. lol...
DeleteIt would be nice to have vintage cars. For a long time into the 90s, hubby drove an old '67 Ford Falcon. It was just an older model car to us at the time that he'd had since the mid-70s. Suddenly he started noticing teenagers and 20-somethings casting admiring glances at the car at the gas station. LOL!!! What a joke to discover he was driving a vintage car!!! Hahahaha... We don't have it anymore. Our next newer "classic" is a '75 Ford Maverick, but it needs some work before the teenagers can look longingly at it! :D
that car is so nice!
ReplyDeletegreat card!
hugs
Love both as I am sure your hubby did on Father's Day! Perfect guy cars and way cool paper that you really accentuated to a tee!
ReplyDeleteI tend to struggle with masculine cards, but these are wonderful! Thanks for the inspiration and for playing along with us this month at Stick it Down!
