Hi, Friends.....
Are we all warm enough yet???? It is sooooooooo hot here in Idaho that even the bugs are dying!!! (The only silver lining I have found!) I have to water my garden twice a day. I can't have the stove on (Okay, TWO silver linings...no cooking!), or have the lights on, or do ANYTHING in the house.....even craft! So it is fortunate that I had played with this Santa stencil and embossing paste several weeks ago. I am squeaking in with this card at the last minute for the June Rudolph Days over at Scrappy Mo's.
GIVEAWAY ALERT:
Although I am happy with the way this card turned out, this stencil is not really my style. It is a gently used retired brass Quietfire Santa and Reindeer stencil and I have used it only this one play session. I decided that I would offer it as a giveaway to a commenter who would like to have it. Maybe nobody wants it, but if you are interested say "Yes, please to the stencil" in the comments. This giveaway is open until 11:59 pm Pacific Daylight Time, July 7, 2021. I will send this gift WORLDWIDE....just like Santa does!
Leftover gesso spattered background
Dreamweaver Embossing Paste (retired)
W plus 9 - Tree Border die set
Stamper's Anonymous - TH Collection 2016 Stamptember Holiday stamp set (retired)
Versafine ink in Majestic Blue
Hope you liked my card. I was wishing a snowy scene would make me feel cooler, but it didn't work. lol... (Feel free to remind me that when we had snow in May I said I was very ready for the warm weather to get here!!! Arrrrgh!) Stay safe if you are in one of the severe weather regions!! Thank you for stopping by!
❤

Hi Janis, I am trying to understand what to do with my email subscribers too. Hopefully, I will do it today. It is already July!
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful card, my friend. And YES PLEASE, I would love to have the Santa and Reindeer stencil, if you don't mind to send it in Greece. Thank you so much for the chance to win. Kisses!!!
I think your card is lovely, and would love to pop my name in the hat to win the stencil. Many thanks
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous scene that you've made using the stencil Janis and how gernerous of you to give it away too. Thank you for joining in the fun at Rudolph Days this month.

Dear Janis
ReplyDeleteLove the card and the colors too. Yes for the stencil please.Tc stay safe
Striking Christmas card Janis. Love the combination of dark blue with white. Thank you for entering the "Use A Snowflake or Two or More" Challenge at CHNC.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love this beautiful Santa snow scene so much. The detail that you got from your stencil is really outstanding. I still haven't used embossing paste, although I do have a few jars tucked away in my stash. As much as it tempts me to toss my name into the hat, I think I'll pass this time. I need to use more of what I have instead of continuing to add to it.
ReplyDeleteWe had the scorching heatwave earlier and I am so glad to say that it moved to the east of us. It is hard to get anything done in extreme heat. Take care and drink lots of water!
ReplyDeleteYour card is very pretty!
Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.
beautiful card!
