Hi, Friends......
I am here with my final entry for this fortnight's Butterfly Challenge where Mrs. A has a wonderful "butterfly wheel" of options and lovely cards for inspiration. She assured me that this card still qualifies for her challenge with C is for Cream and Checks, since I discovered that crimson isn't really the orangey-red color I first thought! :)
Supplies used include:
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set
Sizzix - Branch with Leaves die
Spellbinders - Heartfelt Creations - Raindrops on Roses die set
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Oval STAX die set
DCWV cut-apart from Sweet Blossoms stack
DCWV solid and shimmer cardstock
Dare 2B Artzy - Prayers 4 You stamp set
Distress Ink in Walnut Stain
Fiskars - Corner Edgers "Nostalgia"
Prima Butterfly
Sharpie in golden green (to color body of butterfly to match card)
Core'dinations cardstock base
Hope you enjoyed my card. The loving thoughts expressed were inspired by all the love challenges going on right now, and the colors and special features were inspired by the Butterfly Challenge. And, hey....you still have time to join in the Butterfly Challenge. I hope you will go check out the Butterfly Wheel and play along! See you there....

I feel like I've spent February sleeping under a rock with all these cards I missed seeing....but it's really fun catching up. I love the way you used that Sizzix leaf die in so many ways, and with different card stocks that change the look completely. I kept trying to figure out how you cut the intricate corners from the INSIDE of that frame, when I suddenly realized that you actually cut the corners on your tan mat instead. With the inked edges, it looked like you cut a frame out of that olive green piece...oh, never mind, haha!
