Hi, Friends.....
Yes, I am back with my third butterfly card for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge. Here's the Butterfly Wheel for this fortnight. The color elements are: Sage, Salmon, and Sky Blue. The theme elements are: Stitching, Spots, and Step Block Card.
I am using more of the wonderful goodies that Mrs. A sent me a long time ago: an adhesive border strip, which I put lengthwise down the center of the card, some pretty lace ribbon in sage, and some patterned paper that I used for the scalloped circle.
This time I am also entering the Double Trouble Challenge which is asking for a Tall and Skinny Card. I used to be tall and skinny once upon a time....but no more. (I'm still tall, but....ummmm... oh, just forget I said anything...lol!) I do enjoy making this tall format style of card.
I am also using the Try Stampin' On Tuesday sketch that is the Double Dare on this Double Trouble Challenge:
Here's my take:
Supplies used include:
Close to my Heart - A Little Love Petite Perks (retired)
Versafine ink in Spanish Moss
My Favorite Things Die-namics - Stitched Square STAX die set
Scraps from my stash
Ribbon from stash
Butterfly and Flower stickers from stash
Distress Ink in Bundled Sage and Antique Linen
I think this card turned out really pretty. I hope you like it, too! Thank you so much for stopping by and looking at my butterfly cards!! Have a great day.
🖤
Janis

ReplyDeleteOh Janis, this is exquisite with all those gorgeous patterned papers. I love the vintage look and the tall format. when I made my card I only thought of a CAS design and never even thought to use strips of patterned paper. Now I wish I had done that on my card because this is so beautiful.
