August Rudolph Days - Christmas Wishes

Hi, Friends......

I am squeaking in here with a quick and easy entry into Mo's August Rudolph Days challenge. I NEED quick and easy right now! I am getting ready for the 2020 Cat Lovers Hop in October...(Have you seen my list of sponsors on my sidebar so far????!!!! WOW, right?).....AND I am also getting ready to homeschool my 4th grade granddaughter for this school year....AND I have a new grandbaby due at the end of October, too, and a baby quilt to make!!! Yes.....I NEED quick and easy!!! lol....

I was inspired by a snowflake embossed background I found in my stash.....but wanted a tag. As you know, if you die cut a dry-embossed background, it kind of flattens out the embossing. So I grabbed a fresh piece of the extra-thick white cardstock I like for dry embossing and cut a tag. I misted it a bit with water for a good impression and then dry-embossed it.

I used a lovely sentiment die from Di Wray (THANKS, Di!!) and some red scraps to make the bright sentiment. I had a large scrap of the background from an ancient DCWV stack which I used. I topped it off with some pretty crinkle ribbon from Diana Larson (THANKS, Diana!!). I had a enough of the background for two cards so I now I have two more Christmas cards in my stash for this December! Yay!!

Supplies used include:
Creative Expressions - Sue Wilson - Mini Christmas Wishes die
Darice - Snowflakes embossing folder (retired)

Crinkle Ribbon from DL.ART
Scraps of red cardstock and DCWV patterned paper
Coordinations 110 lb white cardstock
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set - retired (for background and tag)

Thank you so much for stopping by today. And just like that.......there goes August running off into the pasture! September is already meowing at the door ready to come in.....and I can even hear the holidays beginning to scratch on the screens!! What a wild ride this life is!!! Wheeeeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeee!!!
