STORM DELAY....Sorry for the delay in getting this Wrap-Up Day Post up.  My internet had been wonky all day yesterday and a storm was predicted last evening.  It wasn't even thaaaaaaaaaaat much of a storm, but it must have hit the towers that are associated with our service because it all went dead.  We are fine....just a little bit of wind and snow, with everything white this morning.  But it was enough that I couldn't get my post up.  Thank you for your patience and concern!!  ❤

Welcome to the Wrap-Up Day for our 2022 Cat Lovers Hop.  TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO COMMENT ON PROJECTS AND TO PLAY IN THE DAILY GAMES.  I know a number of you have already finished....but I haven't!!  lol...  With my crazy internet, I have only made it a little over halfway through the list.  BUT I WILL GET THERE!!  (Maybe not by tonight, though, but I am going to try!)

The project Link-Up closed on Saturday, Oct. 29, but to give as many of you as possible a chance to comment on the projects I kept comments open several extra days.  Comments close at 11:59 pm Pacific today, Wednesday, Nov. 2nd.   

You also have through today to participate in the Daily Games that you will find on each of last week's posts. Comments on each of those posts also go into the draw for Comment Prizes.  So if you have not caught up on the Daily Games, this is the day to do that!

Happy Christmas - October Rudolph Days

Hi, Friends.......

I'm here with a quick post to add my submission into Maureen's Rudolph Days Challenge.  I am still busy with tying up loose ends with the Cat Lovers Hop.....although I have to admit that I didn't do a scrap of commenting today and I am way behind!!  I will have to work hard on it through Wednesday to get all the lovely projects visited.

My Christmas card today used a gleaming double embossed background I had leftover in my stash.  I have made cards with this wonderful embossing folder a number of times...often double embossing them.  But I always struggled to fit them on an A2-sized card.  I finally figured out that I should put them on a 5"x7".  Ahhhh, much better!

Hi, Friends......

This week has been such a frenzy with our 2022 Cat Lovers Hop, that I have not had a chance to post even one card!  So I am taking the time right now just before the gates close to finally put this one up that I had made for my son's birthday this year.   I used Lost Coast Designs products and am going to add it to their Cats and Dogs Challenge.

I stamped, heat embossed and masked off the cityscape and experimented around on scratch paper till I had the cat positioned where I wanted.  Fussy cutting the mask around all those spires looks like it would be tedious, but I found I did not have to be too exact.  Good thing, because I detest fussy cutting!!  lol... 

The inside sentiment says:  "Be Humble and Rule the World".  :)

Wow....we made it!  We are on the Day 6 of our Hop.  The week has really flown by.....like kitty crazies in the middle of the night!  Ha.  

Have you enjoyed the Daily Games?  Thank you for indulging me on the silly Day 4 - Cat Riddles and Jokes Game.  The ones you have shared have tickled my funny bone!!  Thanks for taking part in that. 

Many of you have already linked up your 5 projects for the week and will spend National Cat Day with your kitties....and maybe CATching up on thanking sponsors and commenting on all the projects!!  For the rest of you, TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO LINK UP PROJECTS!!!  All projects must be linked up by 11:55 pm Pacific tonight, October 29th.

I went to my Blog's Spam folder today and found over a dozen of your comments that somehow triggered the filters.  I have them all properly added to my posts now, but it made me think that this is possibly happening to other people, too.  So please check your Blog Spam Folders.  I can't include Hopper comments in for the Comment Prizes if I don't see them when I visit your blog!   Thanks for your help!!

DAY 6 GAME: Where Do Your Cats Sleep? Do they hog your pillow or do they have a secret nest?


I'll go first.....

We have an upstairs loft with a pull-down ladder for access.  The cats love sleeping up there in the loft where the warm air rises.  Even dear old Jetta, age 19, shoots up that ladder (she is faster than I am!!!) to take a nap in her favorite nest up there.  At night, though, she often sleeps on top of me, esp if I have the heating pad on!  My sweet snuggly Judith sleeps on my pillow or at the foot of the bed. Othello usually sleeps with my son in the loft at night or on the couch.
