Perfect Peace

Hi, Friends.......

I am here with another stash-buster card for the Stick it Down April Card Sketch Challenge.

I already had this background panel of patterned paper with the appropriate vertical strip, as the sketch requests. I also had this sentiment panel......that had been rejected long ago because the words were just sooooo very light. (Of course, I didn't throw it though I EVER throw ANY thing away!!! Ha.)

So I truly didn't know if this card was going to work at all because of that barely visible sentiment. I liked how pretty it was, but I knew it would easily get overwhelmed by much of anything else on the card. Initially I put *only* that sentiment panel on the background panel of the card....but it was too bleak.

So I got playing around with some flowers in pale neutral tones to see if I could make it better. Oh, my goodness......I LOVED what I was seeing. I am so pleased with how this turned out. Do you think the flowers overpower the pale sentiment too much?????

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusteth in thee."  Isaiah 26:3
