Relax, Read, Repeat

Hi, Friends.......

Have you noticed how my sponsor list is growing on the sidebar for the 2019 Cat Lovers Hop coming up right here Oct. 21-26? It's going to be another fantastic hop....can't wait!!!

Simon Says Stamp is having their awesome STAMPtember collaboration challenges and Newton's Nook is one of the featured companies. Don't you just love every single one of Jen's amazing sets??? My faves are the ones with Newton, of course!! I hardly ever play with Newton sets so it was fun last week getting them inked up.

I even managed to use this week's sketch from My Favorite Things. Yay...I always intend to play along and hardly ever get to it.

I went with bright late summer colors for this card with Newton catching a few late afternoon rays (and maybe a nap!) with a book. Those glasses just make me smile!!! I stamped and colored this on a piece of mixed media paper that I had spritzed with various colors of ink sprays.

Supplies used include:
Newton's Nook Designs - Newton's Book Club stamp set
Tsukineko - Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa
Spectrum Noir alcohol markers
Stampendous - Clear Embossing Powder in Clear Bark
Canson - Mixed Media Paper
Dylusions Ink Spray
M&C Boutique - Large Circle Frame die set
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Tilda Cutaways die set
Kat Scrappiness - Paw Print Sprinkles
Scraps from K&Co. and DCWV
Core'dinations/Darice kraft cardstock
Hope you liked seeing this colorful card! Thank you for stopping by today.

  10. I first want to apologize for taking so long to comment. I have been on holidays and I love looking at everyone's entries so I told the design team that I would respond to my quota of entries once I returned. Great technique. Thank you for showing us your patterned papers at Crafty Hazel Nut's Patterned Paper Monthly Challenge - Myrna DT
