Father's Day Book Mark

Hi, Friends.....

I am here with a Bible bookmark I made for hubby as part of his Father's Day gift. I used a nifty Elizabeth Craft tag die set for the bookmark. It is so cool because you can make the tag any length and almost any width by cutting down the edges. The set includes a die for the scalloped top of the tag and variations you can use for the bottom. LOVE! You'll have to follow the link to see all the fun things that are included!

I stamped and heat embossed a scripture verse and then masked it before stamping the wood grain pattern. I removed the mask and heat embossed tone on tone with Versamark ink and clear powder. I edged my bookmark with Versamark ink and heat embossed the edges in gold. LOVE!!! 

I heat embossed the decorative perforations at the bottom of the tag by outlining the openings with an embossing pen and using the same gold powder. Reinforcements were cut from a scrap of DCWV Mercury Glass stack. A bit of ribbon from my crafty pal, Karen Ladd, finished it up. (Thanks, Karen!!)  I used my heat gun to slightly sear the ribbon ends to keep them from fraying.

I wrote a Happy Father's Day greeting on the back of the bookmark and was going to leave it at that....but in the end decided to use repositionable adhesive to attach it to a simple tall format card and still be easily removeable.

Lots of Kitty ATCs

Hi, Friends......

As promised (or at least hoped for...) here are the other ATCs that I made. These go along with THIS ONE. I am entering a few of these in some current challenges, but mostly I am just sharing today so you can see a photo of them all together which I have included at the bottom of this post. I used one of my leftover Easter egg dye backgrounds, adding stamping and heat embossing. For each of these ATCs, I added a stamped and colored image from various kitty stamps in my stash.

Isn't this an adorable little girl and her kitty? This is one of my oldest stamps, I believe it was given to me a long time ago by my dear MIL.

'Tis the Season

I am here with a fun Christmas card to add to my collection. My amazingly awesome son found this adorable stamp for me at a thrift store. It's so perfect! What kitty doesn't love watching birdies through the window???

My wood grain patterned paper background was inspired by the the June Winnie & Walter Rerun Challenge with the Scenery: Into the Woods as the featured rerun set. I don't own the set but I got inspiration from the stamped wood grain background and white sentiment panel on Shay's colorful card HERE.

My pastor asked me to make a Father's Day card for his dad with an airplane theme or coffee theme. I don't often use printables or even digis, but I found this coffee meme that I couldn't resist. I layered two scripty coffee die cuts together and also added some silver Nuvo drops.

Cute Dinosaur BD Card for Young Boy

Hi, Friends.......

I am here with a happy little dinosaur card suitable for a young boy's birthday.  I don't often use my Mark's Finest Papers stamps anymore (since they sadly closed their doors), but I should because there are some nice ones in my stash!  This little dino set is a fun one.

I am entering this in the June Winnie & Walter Rerun Challenge.  I don't own the rerun set (Scenery: Into the Woods) but I love the orange, purple, and green colors in  Kate's card HERE......which I amped up into brights for my card.  The background print on my dino panel reminds me of the woodsy outdoor backgrounds in the rerun set, too.  My dino is stamped, heat embossed, and hand cut from patterned paper in the long discontinued DCWV Kid-osaurus set.

Here are some more graduation cards for guys that I made for orders. I used the same embossing folder as on my last set HERE, but did a little cutting on the diagonal and used different stamps. I love the motivational and inspiring words from the A Creative Journey with Melissa - Awareness Ribbon Set #1 stamp set. I think they work great with the graduation theme.

I made two color variations, so please tell me which you like better. I like the blue one a little better, I think.
